Due to an exciting period of expansion, we are seeking experienced 1st and 2nd Line IT Support Technicians to complement our team within our IT Department.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the sector of providing a high-level of customer satisfaction and ability to meet service level agreements.  In addition, they will need to have exceptional customer service skills, enthusiasm, determination and the will to succeed.

You will be required to work shift hours on a rota basis, for which a shift allowance will be paid, in order to meet the needs of the business.  

Your role will involve carrying out a wide range of support work, travelling to various locations throughout the North East, therefore, candidates must hold a full driving licence.

The Role

Experience of server operating systems is essential along with Active Directory and MS-Exchange Cloud services. Would suit a well organised person with experience in commercial IT support.

An MCP, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent will be preferred although knowledge and understanding of the following will take precedence:

  • Setup and troubleshooting of server-based networks.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting remote login procedures, server email facilities, switches, routers, wireless networks/vLANs, ASA firewall, VPNs, etc.
  • Administration and support of cloud-based services.
  • Setup and configuration of VoIP telephone systems would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided

Hands-on experience of data cabling and hardware installation and fixing would be an advantage but is not essential.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and capable individual with a strong desire to progress their career within a leading IT services company.
