Health & Safety Consultant

Due to continued growth Diamond are looking to recruit a qualified consultant who has experience covering the following subjects:

  • Fire Awareness

  • Fires Warden/Marshall

  • Working at Height Awareness

  • Manual Handling Awareness

  • COSHH Awareness

  • IOSH Awareness

  • NEBOSH Awareness

  • DSE Display Screen Equipment Awareness

  • Corporate Manslaughter

  • Accident Investigation

  • Risk Assessment/Method Statements

  • First Aid at Work

  • Emergency First Aid at Work

We will provide additional support and training in specific subjects, where required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective training focusing on legislative and regulatory using a range of training methods to motivate and meet the needs of different learning styles.

  • Promote awareness of the training opportunities and planned training activity within diverse services.

  • Work collaboratively with clients and advise on the identification of training needs arising from competence gaps and audit/inspections.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • A minimum of four years’ experience as Health & Safety Practitioner

  • Experience of delivering Health & Safety Training

  • Experience of delivering training and group facilitation, coaching and/or one to one support

  • Someone who holds an appropriate training qualification

  • Must hold a full driving licence

We have a requirement for a full time permanent employee, however, may consider a qualified Health & Safety Consultant who is looking for part time hours also.
